Get to know me.
I’m Joseph Powell, founder of Bubble Rock Advisors. The idea for this firm was born during a hiking trip in the scenic mountains of Maine, where I realized how much clarity and insight nature can bring. Just like the trail markers guiding you on a hike, I wanted to help businesses and individuals navigate the complexities of finance with the right guidance and clear direction.

I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Accounting and have spent several years working in public accounting, providing tax and financial advisory services to businesses and individuals. My background in public accounting gave me a solid foundation in the technical aspects of tax preparation, financial reporting, and strategic planning, and I’ve carried that experience into the work I do today at Bubble Rock Advisors.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me on the golf course or the tennis court—two of my favorite ways to unwind. I'm also proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Revved Up Kids, a local nonprofit dedicated to child safety education.

How does Bubble Rock Advisors determine the monthly costs? Client rates are calculated based on the information gathered during the introductory meeting and review of existing files. We believe in charging based on the service we provide and not the hours we work. This allows us to be as efficient as possible and provide you with the most value.
Why should I use Bubble Rock Advisors instead of hiring my own accountant? Price alone should convince you. The costs of 1 full-time accountant costs around $6,000/month with salary, benefits, taxes, and overhead. This is before the time invested to supervise them. Also, we can help design systems, create financial forecasting, and connect you with other professional advisors.
What kind of companies do you work with? We work with clients in a variety of industries including real estate, construction, SaaS, service based, and nonprofits.
Where will the work be performed? We are located in Atlanta, Georgia but are a virtual firm. We are able to serve clients all over the United States using efficient and secure technology.
What is the cancellation policy? We require 30-day notice for cancellation, but you can cancel at any time.
